The
National Equity Fund Ltd (NEF) is a Rs 1 billion equity
fund set up jointly by The State Investment Corporation
Ltd. and the Development Bank of Mauritius Ltd. The
objective of this ten-year closed-end fund is to invest
in and enhance the performance of companies with meaningful
growth potential. The Fund participates in the equity
capital of existing and new ventures in a number of
strategic sectors of the economy including Biotechnology,
Cotton Spinning, Information and Communication Technology,
Textiles and Tourism. |
